Across the country, companies, state and local governments and ordinary Americans are embracing wind, solar and other renewable energy sources. Forward-looking utility companies are moving away from dirty, dangerous and expensive coal and nuclear power. States like California are leading the renewable energy movement by implementing policies that promote and support emissions-free energy.
Why? Because it saves customers money and is better for our health and our environment. Now the federal government must step up with investments and policies to speed the urgently needed switch to clean energy.
At EWG, we’re working to advance the clean energy economy. We harness expert analysis and data-driven resources to show how clean energy protects our health and the world we’re leaving our children, while putting millions of Americans to work in good-paying jobs.
