Meg Cadoux Hirshberg
Meg Cadoux Hirshberg is co-founder of the Anticancer Lifestyle Program (ACLP), a free, online, evidence-based lifestyle transformation program for cancer survivors and those interested in the prevention of chronic illness. The ACLP provides participants with the tools and information they need to make and sustain changes in the areas of diet, fitness, stress management and toxin exposure. The self-paced Anticancer Lifestyle course contains over 10 hours of video, text, animation, and interactives. The ACLP website offers a Toolkit of apps, books, tip sheets, websites, articles, and more, to help participants continue to develop their Anticancer lifestyle. Meg’s nonprofit, the Anticancer Lifestyle Foundation, supports the maintenance and dissemination of the ACLP.
For 15 years, Meg was a freelance nonfiction writer, whose work appeared in Yankee, New Hampshire magazine, and the Boston Globe magazine, among other publications. For six years, she was a columnist and contributing editor at Inc. magazine, writing a regular column called “Balancing Acts,” which explored work-life balance, and the intersection of family and business in an entrepreneurial setting. Meg’s book, “For Better or For Work: A Survival Guide For Entrepreneurs and Their Families,” expands on her column topics. Axiom Business Book Awards, AMEX Open Forum, and Entrepreneur magazine cited Meg’s book as one of the best business books of 2012. Meg has also written two yogurt cookbooks. She is married to Gary Hirshberg, chairman and co-founder of Stonyfield Yogurt. Meg and Gary have three adult children.
